  • Kate Bradley, CEO

As CEO of Outlandos Music, Kate oversees the hand-selection of each and every song as well as the strategic direction of the ship.  A Triple-A (Adult Album Alternative) radio programming veteran, she has served as Music Director of the Loft at XM Satellite Radio, as well as Midday Host at heritage mainstay WYEP (Pittsburgh) and Evening Host, Production Director, and Imaging Director, at heritage mainstay WNCS (Vermont). Kate also co-founded Triple-A start-up WUIN (North Carolina) and took a brief hiatus from broadcasting to carve up the slopes with national ski-area condition experts SnoCountry.  Directly prior to launching Outlandos Music, she served as Content Supervisor for Pump Audio, an independent music-licensing powerhouse owned by Getty Images.  Kate has been nationally recognized for her ardent presentation of music and her ability to champion talented, compelling artists.  She also specializes in spazzy air-guitar, finesse-less Italian hand-gestures, and the shameless adoration of Andy Summers.

  • Al Cattabiani, Partner

Al has spent his career distributing high-quality films, TV programs, DVDs and music. Most notably, he was co-founder and CEO of Wellspring Media, world cinema and independent film distribution dynamo – now controlled by The Weinstein Company. Earlier, he was president of Pacific Arts Corporation, best known for pioneering home video and creating the PBS Home Video label. Since selling Wellspring, Al has been active in a variety of media startups, including Garagista Music, iThentic, and FilmCatcher, all of which, like Outlandos Music, focus on using new technology to bring worthy material to discerning audiences. As an active musician for over 30 years, Al specializes in spazzy, actual guitar playing, as well as coaching Kate on the finer points of Italian conversational mannerisms, and the shameless adoration of his wife and son.

  • Scott Freiman, Partner

Scott is an accomplished composer, arranger, producer, and sound editor, as well as the owner of Second Act Studio, a state-of-the-art music and video studio for composition, recording, and production. The “second act” refers to his previous role as CEO of CMSI, a publicly-traded software company. Via Second Act, Scott has composed original music, spanning a variety of genres, for a number of features and short films – some of which have been performed at Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. He has also served as sound editor and designer for several films, including the multiple award-winning documentary Encounter Point. Along with Al, Scott co-owns and operates Garagista Music, an online gathering place for fellow music nuts. Scott also specializes in spazzy accordion playing, slightly less spazzy keyboard playing, and shameless adoration of Al and Kate. Aw.
